Judge Beatty Blunt currently serves on the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas, General Division, where she has jurisdiction over felony criminal cases, civil cases where the disputed amount is over $15,000 and administrative appeals.  She seeks to serve on the Tenth District Court of Appeals, which not only hears appeals from the court on which Judge Beatty Blunt currently serves, but also hears appeals from the other divisions of the Common Pleas courts- Probate, Domestic Relations, and Juvenile- in addition to appeals from the Franklin County Municipal Court and the Ohio Court of Claims.
